Coming Soon to Who Can Read:
We have more than 40 new books coming soon, and new classroom-friendly iPad apps are being developed. Want a sneak peek of what’s coming soon? Sign up for our mailing list to stay on top of the latest news.
We are at work on improving the app, but also keeping it simple and focusing on what works–the books themselves.
From Jack and Daisy to Bella and Rosie to Clarence the Dragon, our popular and new characters are featured in many of the new books. We also promise new books at several reading levels, but especially from A through G.
If you’ve been using the app with your young readers who like to use their fingers to point at the words, we will be removing the page curl that makes it hard for them to use the app.
What teachers and parents have to say about Who Can Read?:
“My daughter and I have really been enjoying this app – she loves the beautiful illustrations and photos, and she immediately figured out how to launch the books and proceed through the pages.”
“A well-thought-out and beautifully designed book reader for early and emergent readers. The books are designed by reading professionals ant the prices are great. Highlight recommended as a reading teacher.”
“My 6-year-old reads the books to my 4-year old and they both enjoy the app. Cute pictures and fun, age-appropriate stories.”
“My first graders continue to be thrilled and engaged with their e-reading on the iPads. I have created a handy docking station where students can retrieve and put away iPads independently. I have also introduced them to the narrator voice (with headphones). That has been excellent for students of all levels but particularly it gives my challenged readers more opportunity to experience and enjoy books.”
